Gratz guys and good luck with your future raids.
Dont hesitate to ask red team members for advice if you get stuck on a boss - you are going to love Moroes!

Karazhan Cleared!!  | Reads: 67

Karazhan Cleared!!!  For the 1st time we have completely cleared kara!  Weeks of hard work, sweat, and determination has finally paid off.

After many attempts downing Netherspite, I think we got it sussed now, I look forward to see him go down again.  Hopefully some screenshots of our efforts to come soon.

Big Grats to all in Red team.  Enjoy a break tomorrow! or maybe a party in the now empty Kara :)

stan writes "Were getting good at this.

The practice (and the better gear) is paying off now.
Other than the odd silly mistake or bad pull its getting easier.
We downed Prince with a 9 man team, as Greg decided to sit this one out and watch to see how its done.  Uber tanking, spot on healing and a huge amount of dps saw him off with ease.  (Quite why we struggled so badly before I don't know!)
The masters terrace was also a piece of cake.
We have a solid team of regulars and we work well as a team, now we just need to figure out those damned beams!

Im already looking forward to Zul Aman.....

this was the end to week2 as no more bosses were done after this.

Week 3 begins and its time to take the newbies (Neckronian, Deamonprince, Tirrick) ad tested some new builds. newbie night got us to attumen and we downed him, he dropped the usual gold and badges but also some loverly hunter bracers that Torkur and Miyake rolled for Miyake won, and some mage gloves which tirrick won after some confusion.

next we were to head to Moroes and needed a bit of extra Dps so Neckro kindly volunteered to be replaced by Hobbsy, we wiped once and beat him down once he dropped the badges/gold and a belt for Djwaz and a cloak for Slashed.

next we just went n killed some animals for some rep till people had to go

The challenge that faced us tonight was not an easy one.  The opera event was our first boss fight and I think we were quite lucky in getting The Big Bad Wolf.  After having fun watching Djwas run around in his very apt little girl outfit, we decided to kill the wolf and did so without much of a problem.

We then chose to see how far off the Curator was.  We were quite surprised how soon we got there so thought we may as well have a shot at killing him.  We stood in position ready to attack, and then it was Krazyaxe's moment...he soloed the Curator all on his own!  Actually we wiped :) Our first real attempt was a wipe as we weren't too sure what the plan was - we just experimented.  After a nice run back (whooo side door) we got our heads together and gave the Curator a more thoughtfull attempt.  The Curator was our toughest challenge yet as its extremely stressfull on our healers mana.  As per usual recently, he didn't stand in our way and we continued to put an end to him.

This ended an excellent night in Kara everyone who attended excelled themselves big gratz to everyone again.

The nights lineup was: Ramberg, Casbah, Torkur, Dannecc, Kronenburg, Djwaz, Hobbsy, Krazyaxe, Boulzel and Slashed.

Loot that dropped is as follows:

Big Bad Wolf
Wolfslayer Sniper Rifle (claimed by Torkur)
Earthsoul Leggings (claimed by Ramberg)

The Curator
Forest Wind Shoulderpads (claimed by Ramberg)
Gloves of the Fallen Champion (claimed by Casbah - earnt him his Tier 4 Gloves!! GZ.  (Justicar Gloves).

Tonight we progressed further in our Kara exploration, sucessfully killing Moroes!

I think frustration levels were high tonight as we'd wiped many times on previous attempts to kill this boss!  Moroes went down extremely well tonight, we did a great job dealing with the adds, tanking moroes and healing.  The lineup was Quilla, Stillalot, Casbah, Bouzel and Kronenburg in group 1 and Djwaz, Torkur, Miyake, Slashed and a guest for the night Gladiatorgr.

Moroes dropped [Boots of Valiance](went to Casbah), [Moroes' Lucky Pocket Watch] (went to Slashed)and 2x [Badge of Justice] each.

Afterwards we had our first shot at the 3rd boss, Maiden of Virtue.  We got her down to around 40%  doing extremely well for our first shot, unfortunately we were out of time for the night so we'll come back tomorrow for finish her off, which should end a great week for the guild in Karazhan.  Yet again well done to all who attended - our raids are becomming more and more fun as we are getting used to playing together.  Screenshots added to gallery.

Well done to all in our first guild Karazhan run last night!  Our main mission was to go investigate the place and have a look at the first boss.

The lineup was Stillalot, Casbah and Kronenburg on healing.  Slashed and Djwaz tanking and Bouzel, Hobbsy, Flatlined, Torkur and Dannecc.

Once we got warmed up the initial trash up to Attumen went down in no time. Belt of the Tracker dropped from trash, which Stillalot claimed.

Time for Attumen himself!  After a quick team talk as to what the plan was, attumen went down with no problems at all, which was quite a surprise to many of us.  Loot was Gloves of Saintly Blessings taken by Kronenburg and Vambraces of Courage taken by Djwaz.

Next up was the trash to Moroes.  Pattern: Soulcloth Vest and Pattern: Soulcloth Shoulders both dropped, and Kronenburg(as the only tailor in the group) collected.

Once at Moroes we wiped several times and decided to come back next time with a better plan.

For our first run this was a great success, thanks to all for coming!!

Heroic Champions!  | Reads: 174

Tuesday 18th Dec saw a new accomplishment EternitY.

We sent a team into Heroic Ramparts and blew it apart!  Bouzel, Djwaz, Hobbsy, Kronenburg and Lockkyy made it look all too easy!  Several drops included Luminous Fire Opal which was won by Kronenburg.  Raiments of Nature's Breath, Reavers' Ring and Tree Mender's Belt, all of which were disenchanted for shards.
